Jalandhar: PG Department of Music of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV) celebrated Basant Utsav, the festival of spring, with great fervour and musical elegance. The highlight of the event was a soulful sarangi performance by maestro Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib, a distinguished disciple of Ustad Wazir Hussain Khan Sahib, which mesmerized the audience and filled the atmosphere with melodic serenity. The programme was organized under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, who extended a warm and cordial welcome to Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib and the esteemed guests present on the occasion. The dignitaries included Mr. Manjit Singh (AIR), Ms. Kamlesh (AIR), Pandit Ramakant Ji, Arinder Singh Ji, Kale Ram Ji, Tilak Raj Ji, Mr. Sukhdeep (Anhad Studio), Ms. Kulwinder, Ms. Anu, Ms. Manjit, and Ms. Sukhpreet.

Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla eulogized the rich tradition of music in Indian culture.
