Jalandhar: D.A.V. College, Jalandhar witnessed a reunion that was not merely ceremonial — it was a deeply emotional homecoming. Eleven distinguished alumni of the 1995 Commerce Batch returned to their alma mater, rekindling memories that time could not fade. Among those who revisited their cherished corridors were Rohitash Arora, Surjeet Kumar, Bhupinder Manchanda, Sanjay Sharma, Navtej Khela, Chander Mohan, Kapil Sharma, Ashish, Sarabjeet Singh, and Navnish Ahuja, each carrying stories of professional accomplishment shaped by the institution’s enduring academic foundation.
As they stepped once again into familiar classrooms and walked along the corridors that had shaped their formative years, emotions quietly resurfaced — nostalgia intertwined with pride, and gratitude blended seamlessly with joy. The visit was not merely about recalling the past; it was about reliving a defining chapter of their lives.
The alumni called upon the Principal, Dr. Anoop Vats, and engaged in a meaningful interaction reflecting upon the college’s academic evolution, infrastructural growth, and expanding vision. The discussion highlighted how the strong foundations laid decades ago continue to guide alumni across diverse professional spheres. It was a dialogue marked by appreciation for the past and confidence in the institution’s future trajectory.
The visiting alumni also interacted with Vice Principal Prof. Sonica Dania, Registrar Prof. Ashok Kapoor, Deputy Registrar Prof. Manish Khanna, Dean Alumni Dr. Punit Puri, and LAC Member Dr. Naveen Sood. The exchange reflected warmth, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to strengthening alumni–institution engagement. Conversations revolved around collaborative possibilities, mentorship initiatives, and avenues through which former students could continue contributing to the college’s progressive journey.
As a gesture of honour and recognition, the college presented commemorative mementoes to the visiting alumni — symbolizing not only remembrance but also gratitude for their continued association and achievements. The moment stood as a reminder that the bond between an institution and its students transcends time.
